Where to find free fonts

Let's be real, Google Fonts is amazing but they're not the end-all be-all. When you're looking for more, try these services below.

Free

  • Google Fonts is an industry workhorse. If you're looking for web-ready fonts, this is probably your best resource.
  • Adobe Typekit is pretty good. If you already subscribe to Adobe Creative Suite then it's worth a try.
  • Font Squirrel is free and easy to use.
  • Da Font is excellent. I use this service all the time.
  • Fontspace

Paid

  • Envato Elements is a subscription service with dozens of resources. If you only have $30/mo to spend on graphic design materials, use this service.
  • Creative Market offers free downloads on a weekly basis. Check it out, it's totally worth it.
