Here are a few other things I find helpful to know.

1. You won't be able to do much without an EIN (Employee Identification Number) so get that first.

2. There are two types of ways to work within affiliate marketing:

• a) You work with the merchant directly.
• b) You work with aggregator companies that keep you from having to manage hundreds upon hundreds of links.

3. I prefer VigLinks over Commission Junction.

• I've chosen to work wtih Amazon Directly
• I've chosen to work with Ebay Directly.

VigLinks allows for integration with both but I prefer to keep them separate.
